Full Detail in Park West, Morrisville – 2021 Tesla Model Y
The Problem
A Morrisville tech worker had been relying on automatic car washes since purchasing their Tesla Model Y three years earlier. The white paint was covered in swirl marks and micro-scratches from the spinning brushes, and the clear coat had a hazy, flat appearance instead of the glossy finish it once had. Water spots from the apartment complex sprinklers had etched into the hood and front fenders, and tree sap drips from the parking spot's canopy had bonded to the roof and rear glass. Inside, the white vegan leather seats had picked up dye transfer from dark jeans on both the driver and passenger bolsters. The center touchscreen had a permanent smudge haze from daily fingerprints, and the minimal trim panels had accumulated dust in every gap and seam. The glass roof had a milky film on the interior surface from off-gassing that dimmed the cabin light. The frunk and sub-trunk storage areas had loose debris and dust that had been ignored since day one.
Our Process

- Water spot removal and polishing on hood and front fenders
- Ceramic sealant application for long-term protection against UV and contaminants
- Wheel face and barrel cleaning with tire dressing
- White vegan leather dye transfer removal using specialized cleaner
- Center touchscreen and all interior glass deep cleaning
- Glass roof interior film removal for full clarity
- Frunk and sub-trunk cleanout, vacuum, and wipe-down
- All trim gaps and seams detail cleaned with compressed air and brushes
The Results
The Model Y looked like a completely different car after the full car detail. The white paint went from hazy and scratched to a deep, reflective gloss — the owner said they had forgotten what it looked like when they drove it off the lot. The water spot etching was polished out, the tree sap was removed cleanly, and the ceramic sealant gave the finish a hydrophobic protection layer. Inside, the dye transfer on the white seats was fully removed, the touchscreen was crystal clear, and the glass roof was bright and clean for the first time in years. The Morrisville area's mix of pine trees and construction dust means cars parked outdoors accumulate contaminants quickly — a proper detail and sealant goes a long way toward keeping that buildup from becoming damage.
