Full Detail in Highland Creek, Charlotte – 2020 Honda Pilot
The Problem
A Highland Creek homeowner brought their Honda Pilot to us after it had spent two years as the family's primary vehicle without a professional cleaning. The silver paint was peppered with tree sap from their oak-lined driveway and had developed a rough texture from industrial fallout settling on the surface. The clear coat had light oxidation on the hood and roof from constant sun exposure. Inside, the second-row seats had permanent-looking stains from spilled juice boxes, the carpet under the driver seat was matted with salt residue from winter boots, and the cargo area had a thin layer of potting soil from a spring garden center trip that had been ground into the fibers. The wheels had curb rash and embedded brake dust that had bonded to the finish over months of neglect. The windshield had a hazy film on the interior surface from off-gassing, and every trim panel had a dull, dried-out appearance.

The Results
The Pilot looked dramatically different after the full detail. The tree sap spots were gone, the paint felt glass-smooth after clay bar treatment, and the oxidation on the hood and roof was polished out to reveal clean, glossy paint underneath. The juice stains on the second-row seats were fully extracted, the salt damage under the driver seat was reversed, and the potting soil was removed from the cargo carpet fibers. Every trim piece had its color and texture restored with protectant, and the windshield was crystal clear on both sides. For families in the Highland Creek area near Charlotte, tree sap and seasonal debris are a constant challenge — regular detailing prevents that buildup from becoming permanent damage.
