Full Detail in NoDa, Charlotte – 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Problem
An artist living in the NoDa arts district brought in their Jeep Grand Cherokee after a summer of hauling canvases, paint supplies, and camping gear. The exterior had splashes of dried acrylic paint on the fenders, road tar along the rocker panels, and the black paint was covered in swirl marks from automatic car washes. Inside, paint-stained drop cloths had left colorful residue on the rear cargo area and back seats.
Our Process
- Targeted paint and tar removal using clay and solvent
- Full exterior foam cannon pre-wash and hand wash
- Iron fallout remover on wheels and lower panels
- Two-stage machine polish to remove swirl marks
- Ceramic spray sealant for lasting gloss
- Cargo area deep clean and stain extraction
- Full interior wipe-down, vacuum, and glass cleaning
The Results
The Grand Cherokee's black paint was restored to a deep, mirror-like shine with all paint splashes and tar removed. The swirl marks from previous washes were completely corrected. The cargo area was free of paint residue, and the entire interior felt fresh and clean. The owner was amazed their workhorse SUV could look this good.
