The Problem

An Indian Trail family fostered rescue dogs and their Ford Explorer had become the unofficial transport vehicle for dozens of animals over the past year. Multiple breeds meant a variety of fur types — short wiry hair, long silky strands, and thick undercoat fluff — all woven into the cloth seats, cargo liner, and even the seat belt webbing. Drool marks covered the rear windows and door panels.

• Multi-tool approach for varied fur types across all surfaces
• Rubber blade treatment for short wiry hair on cloth seats
• Fine-tooth comb and lint roller for long hair on headliner
• Compressed air and vacuum for undercoat fluff in crevices
• Seat belt webbing detail brushing and cleaning
• Rear window and door panel drool mark removal
• Full hot water extraction of seats and cargo area with enzyme treatment

The Results

Every type of dog hair was meticulously removed from the Explorer. The varied approach for different fur types made all the difference — the cloth seats were completely clean, the seat belts were fur-free, and the cargo area was spotless. The drool marks were wiped away, and the enzyme treatment ensured no pet odor lingered. The family was ready to welcome the next round of foster pups into a fresh, clean vehicle.
